OLDER PUPPIES AND DOGS AVAILABLE
From time to time we have older puppies or dogs available, and for a variety of reasons we are looking for new homes. These dogs come offering their own fun and joy to their new family life. Generally, all information will be added in the description of each dog. Feel free to email us or phone if you have further questions and we can set up a meeting.
Absolutely Adorable Aroha
Aroha is a Labrador, now 6 years old and around 25-28kg, however, if she had her way, she would be 40kg. She is like many Labradors, playful, cheeky, hasn’t grown up yet, no sense of personal space AND she LOVES food. Aroha adores sticks, the beach, is social and she gets on well with dogs. She is very clever and wants to please, one of her favourite things is touch. Aroha has not been walked much on a lead so some training will be needed for this. She also has not been around cats so we will only place her in a home without cats.
Aroha’s health tests are great and she contributed to our breeding programme by having a litter that gave us a new line to breed with. She has been desexed for a couple of years now.
She fits into our busy life here, but it would be great for Aroha to have more one on one attention, she will blossom even though obviously it will take her a while to adjust to a new situation. Vaccinations, flea treatments and worming are up to date.
She is ready for a new home now.
Please note, Aroha will eat a poo if there is one available, not her own though, so clean up another dogs if you have one.
